“When we started the movie, there were all these fancy machines being designed to get the dust on us,” she tells Yahoo Movies, which you can watch in the video above. “Finally, I was just like, ‘Are you guys kidding? I’m going to be here five minutes before we shoot, and I will be rolling in the dirt, and then we will go. They’re like, ‘Really, you’re OK with that?’ It’s like, what’s the difference? Getting the dust from the fancy box or just rolling in the dirt. There’s no difference.”
You are now imagining Charlize Theron in full Imperator Furiosa gear rolling around in the sand. You are now imagining the rest of the cast following suit like a line of rolling ducklings. You are now imagining her leading them to the top of a huge dune and casting herself off to roll down back to the set, shouting “Weeeeeeeeeeeee!” all the way.
“What was great about this is that the luxury of a love story was not where we were, I mean they can’t even talk to each other. We never even talked about it – it was never there, no one said ‘maybe’, we never had to fight against it. It

little respect for each other and ending up with a massive respect for
each other.” – Charlize Theron (x)
