Everyone makes fun of Jotaro for wearing that huge chain but you know it’s only there because otherwise he’s too quiet, him walking around is a heart attack waiting to happen. I bet one time he walked downstairs for dinner and was in the dining room for like five minutes before saying anything and Holly didn’t even know he was there and she spilled a pot of hot soup all over herself jumping in surprise and ever since then Jotaro wears the chain so that people know when he’s entered the room. It’s like belling a cat except your cat is 195 cm tall and made out of muscle.
this part wasn’t in the anime so i never knew how he came to get the mask but apparently he just fucking bought it at an art gallery because he has horrible taste and then hung the ugly thing in his house to remind him of his dead wife
