basically gon’s mom would have to be michael jordan for him to reach killua. that is kinda cute even tho the idea of short gon you talked about is nice!!! killua should probably be as tall as his brother or something

well yeah illumi is about 185cm tall and it’s within killua’s final height range, so it’s probably a good guess!! though w/ the way the manga and the hiatus are going it’ll probably take a while to see whether togashi will make my completely scientific headcanon come true

if gon’s mom turned out to be 2m tall THEN killua and gon would have about same height theoretically. like if you calculate it the traditional way (mother height in cm + father height in cm + 13cm (if the child is male; – 13cm if female) and then dividing the result by 2 to find Target Height, give it or take 8cm), assume ging is like 165cm tall bc he’s Tiny and do the maths, gon’s target height would be about 189cm

killua’s dad is 198cm tall (Huge Fucking Giant) and killua’s mom is 170cm, resulting in a target height of about 190cm. SOOOO

i’m here seeing fanart of aged up gon and killua where gon is taller than killua and idk i feel like that’s wrong. then i put more thought into it and i guess there’s evidence for both gon turning out to be taller than killua or vice-versa. like

evidence for gon turning out to be taller than killua:

  • that one time gon turned into Bara Gon, which was essentially Older Gon (though it might’ve been only the physical representation of his Sheer Power and not how he will actually look like when he’s older. Weird Nen Shit)

evidence for killua turning out to be taller than gon:

  • gon’s dad is a p tiny dude and unless his mom was super tall his chances of turning out much taller than ging are p low
  • have you seen how fucking massive killua’s dad is holy shit dude is like 2m tall and 1.5m wide or smth. also killua’s mom is p tall too so here’s Genetics 4 u

conclusions:

  • evidence for gon being taller than killua relies heavily on Weird Nen Shit and you can’t trust that shit
  • evidence for killua being taller than gon is based on Genetics and Science which are p reliable
  • i should go to bed and stop writing useless posts about my fruitless hxh headcanon thoughts i just wasted 5 minutes typing this post and at least 2 hours thinking about it. i could’ve studied some chemistry instead of doing this to myself
