i need 2 get more familiar w/ european portuguese vocabulary bc they got some good stuff imo
like. they still use terms i’m only familiar with bc i read lots of 19th century brazilian literature. when i hear portuguese people speaking i can almost remember entire passages of the Posthumous Memories of Brás Cubas and i wish i had the power to evoke such vivid imagery solely through my vocabulary
