Tempting, right?

In dog language, this would mean “come rub my belly please!”
Cats do not speak dog language. Cats speak their own language. This has led to many misunderstandings and scratched-up arms.

This is cat language for “I trust you”. When a cat shows you their belly, you are being given a lovely gift – this kitty trusts you enough to expose their vulnerable underside.
They just want to show you their trust. If you touch their belly, you immediately break that trust. You were never invited to touch them and you are going to get scratched.

Next time, just thank the kitty for the compliment and maybe give them a nice pat on the head.

Damn I wish I read this years ago. Lol

When my kitty does this, he likes belly rubs lol

There are lots of people responding with similar things so let me just say this.

Some cats DO like belly rubs.

You can tell that they like belly rubs if they respond with:

  • purring
  • slowly closing their eyes
  • squinting
  • laying back and responding the way they normally would when patted.

You can tell that they don’t like it if they:

  • bite
  • scratch
  • flip their tail
  • squirm
  • roll over
  • get up and leave
  • hiss.

i organized my study schedule!! (it’s p heavy but it’s no problem, i can do it)

i’ll study mostly at school in the afternoon (ranging from 2h~3:30h at a time), when i get home i’ll relax for a bit and then study a bit more (like, 1:30h) at night on tuesdays, wednesdays and fridays

i have class on saturday mornings so i’ll study in the afternoon at home for 3 hours. sometimes we have mock tests on saturday afternoon but i can just move my workload to sunday/distribute it through the week on these occasions, it’s no problem

i scheduled myself to study for at least 1:30h on sundays – we usually have mock tests on sunday mornings (it’s a TRAGEDY i know), and i’ll want to see denis and stuff in the afternoon, so i’ll most likely study at night on that day.

like, it’s heavy and all but i’m confident in my abilities. i’ll be going to bed at 10pm at MOST (bc sleep is super important and i have to get up at 5:30am), and i’m eating well (lots of fruit!! like at least 3 a day) and drinking lots of water, so my body will be fine. i miss seeing denis every day but that’s something i’ll have to deal with!! i’m determined to make it work

overall i feel better at cursinho than i used to at school?? maybe bc i don’t have to memorize stuff for tests worth grades and can focus on actually learning. the teachers are nice too and i feel really, really confident that if i work hard enough i’ll reach my goal
