there was a golden age superman comic where someone called a hit out on clark kent, and so a sniper tried to shoot him while he was out having lunch with lois

except he’s fucking superman so the bullets just fell off his chest into his lunch and clark just had to pretend nothing happened and hope lois wouldn’t notice that someone just fucking shot him

the hitman thinks maybe he just missed and gets ready to shoot him again, but then he’s watching through the scope as clark starts to eat the fucking bullets to hide the fucking evidence, acting like everything is totally normal as he noshes down on lead

dude just packs his shit up and leaves town because reporters in this city eat bullets for lunch and he’s not fucking with that no way no how

Adapt this scene for Batman vs. Superman

funwithlanguages:

We know that we can indicate laughter on the Internet in English by merely typing “haha”, but have you ever wondered how other languages indicate laughter in chats, text messaging and Social Media? We’ve compiled a list, just for you!

  • English – “hahaha”, “LOL”
  • Spanish – “jajaja”
  • Arabic – “ههههه” (“hhhhh” – Arabic doesn’t write short vowels, so that could be read as “hahahahaha”)
  • Thai – “55555″ (“5″ in Thai is pronounced “ha”)
  • French – “hahaha”, “héhéhé”
  • Catalan – “hahaha”
  • Portuguese – “hahaha”, “hashuashuashuashua”, “rá!”, “kkkkk”, “rsrsrs”
  • Indonesian – “wkwkwkwk”
  • Swedish – “hahaha”, “hehehe”, “hihihi”
  • Norwegian – “hæhæhæ”, “høhøhø”
  • Vietnamese – “hihihi”
  • Hebrew – “חחח” (“hhh”- similar to Arabic)

now imagine all of these superimposed over pictures of lizards with their mouths open

who are the most underrated hxh characters?

undercover-witch:

Senritsu is really underrated. She’s the only person except from Killua, Gon and Leorio to connect strongly with Kurapika, earn his trust. Not to mention her flute saved his ass from going on a suicide mission after the Ryodan.

Wing is liked in the fandom, I believe. But he’s the only person who didn’t forgive Gon’s actions. Wing slapped Gon and didn’t overlook the way he put himself in danger. And that’s really important because Gon can easily go out of control. Wing and Tsezguerra are the only ones who called Gon out for his outbursts of life endangering selfishness.

Leorio is too often reduced to comic relief. He’s really intelligent and hardworking. Not only he powered through medical studies, but trained enough to create an impressive nen attack. He’s kind, loving, loyal, an amazing character not many people bother to look at past his pervy exterior. I think he became better understood after the Chairman Election arc.

Mito, who sacrificed her own childhood to raise Gon deserves some serious praise. Gon is the polite young man we see thanks to Mito. Sure, she can’t do anything about the wild side he inherited from Ging, but Mito cared for Gon, she schooled him, made sure he grew loved and happy.

10 facts you should know about Vincent van Gogh

teded:

image

1. Vincent van Gogh was born on March 30, 1853, in Holland. He was named after his grandfather and his stillborn brother who died one year before Van Gogh was born.

image

2. Van Gogh was 27 years old when he painted his first piece.

image

3. When Van Gogh first began painting, he used peasants as models. He would later paint flowers, landscapes and himself, mostly because he was too poor to pay the models.

image

4. Van Gogh suffered from temporal lobe epilepsy, a chronic neurological condition characterized by recurrent, unprovoked seizures.

image

5. In a short period of ten years, Van Gogh made approximately 900 paintings.

image

6. During one of his seizures, Van Gogh attempted to attack his friend Paul Gauguin with an open razor. This ultimately resulted in the Vincent cutting off a piece of his own ear – but not the whole ear as is often rumored.

image

7. Van Gogh created his most famous work The Starry Night while staying in an asylum in Saint-Remy-de-Provence, France.

image

8. Vincent Van Gogh visually depicted turbulence, an incredibly complex (and still unsolved) mathematical principle in several paintings during a particularly chaotic time in his life.

image

9. Vincent shot himself in a wheatfield in Auvers, France, but did not die until 2 days later at the age of 37. His brother Theo, at his side when he died, said that Vincent’s last words were “La tristesse durera toujours” which means “the sadness will last forever.”

10. Vincent only sold one painting during his lifetime and only became famous after his death.

Happy Birthday, Vincent van Gogh.
