“Hello? Hello? Anyone home? I have my hat on and everything. Hello?”
No one home.

[France’s] finances are in better state than our enemies’, and our resources fifty times as great; our navy is on a good footing; our armies if well led are invincible, and besides we are French, which is no small weight in the scales to our advantage.

(last picture is terrible)

“We can’t decide if the snowman should have a two ball body or a three ball body. But we all agree he should be holding a cannon.”
Let me tell you, Robespierre is pumped as fuck to try out his National Hell-Razor.
On a side note, I still can’t believe Reign of Terror was dubbed as such. I can’t think of a title more evil-sounding, it’s almost cartoonish.

The language of the fan:
When open, this fan shows a delicate spangle floral pattern with tulips, fleur-de-lis and curtain drapes at the sides. When you fold it halfway, it spells out “Vive Le Roi” – “long live the king” – and the middle ornament turns into a silhouette portrait of king Louis XVI. The colours are held in black, with gold decorations. This fan was a veiled way of mourning the king’s execution during the French Revolution, on January 21, 1793.
