Cannabis: scientists call for action amid mental health concerns

The risks of heavy cannabis for mental health are serious enough to
warrant global public health campaigns, according to international drugs
experts who said young people were particularly vulnerable.

The warning from scientists in the UK, US, Europe and Australia
reflects a growing consensus that frequent use of the drug can increase
the risk of psychosis in vulnerable people
, and comes as the UN prepares
to convene a special session
on the global drugs problem for the first time since 1998. The meeting
in New York next week aims to unify countries in their efforts to tackle
issues around illicit drug use.

Is your neighbour’s blasting of Linkin Park a common occurrence

i generally wake up at 5h30 every day and some days i can hear muffled linkin park while eating breakfast. it’s one of those little surreal every day things
Actually i can hear almost everything that happens in the other apartments on my floor, since the walls are paper thin and all. every one has a peculiar taste in music and it’s p amusing (unless it’s 23h on a tuesday and the girl from apt 33 is blasting lady gaga with all her strength. then it’s just annoying and rude)
