sashayed:

And in time it came to pass that Leonardo DiCaprio, who was already a millionaire, won his meaningless bobblehead for playing pretend in some snow. And the LORD spake then unto the people, saying: “Lo, I have granted thy prayers: be content therefore, and obey the LORD thy God, and make no more memes.” But the people were foolish and sinful, having made idols of the Meme, and heeded not the voice of the LORD: and the new memes were plentiful and did multiply. And the LORD spake unto them again, saying “Please, stop: this hath not been funny since like 2013, if then.” But the people ignored him, for they were on their phones, tweeting #FINALLY LOL 😂😂😂😂. And the LORD regretted then that he had made man: and wise men likewise regretted that they had been made.

you know what i think about? razor called gon a monster. meleoron told gon he felt something inhuman in him. and i think to myself, “i wonder if that’s foreshadowing that gon is a tiny little humanoid abomination. 50% dark continent being, 50% gremlin”

adding on to this in a more serious tone, gon might not even be 50% gremlin.

gon said to mito after the election arc that ging (paraphrased) “didn’t feel like a father to him” and though he said he was joking about the next part, that he didn’t feel like he was “cut out to be a son” either.

surely it was meant to be a nod to the fact that ging and gon don’t have a typical father-son relationship dynamic since they’re not typical people. surely that’s what it was.

surely gon saying ging didn’t feel like his father, rather a “distant relative”, is totally unimportant from a narrative standpoint and is merely a reflection on how strange they are as people.

surely the fact that another freecss, linked to the dark continent, has been introduced to the storyline has no relation to gon’s words.

surely it’s all just coincidence that doesn’t mean anything

my biggest pet peeve wiht the english language is that you don’t have sin/sina

in swedish if u have two people who use the same pronoun u can always tell whos doing what bc its like ‘han tog sin väska’ (he took his[own] bag) and ‘han tog hans väska’ would be that he took the other persons bag

but in english its like if u have 2 ppl w/ the same pronoun:

“she took her bag” whose bag????WHose BAG was it her OWN bag or the other her’s bag??????????????

“he ate his donuts” were the donuts his own???? did he fucking eat someone elses donuts??? YIU DONT KNOW bc english is a bullshit language
