homestuck marked a generation and so many of our lives. for me it’ll be like when naruto ended, bcz i never read/watched naruto but i still felt the impact

idk like, to me naruto ending was more like “finally kishimoto will Free Them from this terrible plot filled with holes and incongruencies” bc naruto had been in steady decline since 2011 or so. i stopped reading homestuck in 2013 or so, but i don’t think the story ever reached a point of clear decline. maybe from the fandom viewpoint since there were a lot of hiatuses, but idk if the story itself ever got truly Bad. but i get what u mean when you compare those two events
