i’ve been thinking super hard about optical isomers for like 2 whole days now why do we even study this shit

- like the only difference between 2 optical isomers is that they deflect polarized light in different directions?? i keep thinking about this
- they're not even particularly interesting but i keep thinking of those fucking molecules
- why can't i make myself think about maths like that maybe then i'd learn smth
