i was waiting to cross the street today and like. 3 guys (who were all like twice my size it was very scary) came up next to me and started to yell cássia eller lyrics at me and were generally very unpleasant+homophobic and frightening. i tried to pretend they weren’t there but boy it was the most despairing moment i’ve had in a while

- i haven't been a victim of homophobic harassment for a long time and it was just as shitty as i remember it
- if i dress femme i get catcalled but if i dress butch i get homophobic assholes yelling at me. literally a no-win situation
- im usually always around friends and family that support me so it's always terrible to remember that people like me and my friends
- like. ughh i feel so unsafe
- these men weren't outright calling me a dyke or anything but they made their message very very clear
