you look cute but I am like confused why did your hairdresser asked you if you wanted to keep your hair. who asks that. what are you going to do with it now

it’s probably bc back in 2010 i had suuuuper long hair (like, it probably reached my waist or smth) and one day decided to cut it all off bc i was sick of it. 

then when i went to the hairdresser (who’s been cutting my mom’s hair for the last 20 years and all) she gave me idea of selling my hair bc it was super long and i hadn’t dyed it or anything so it was virgin hair and i could get some good money for it (i ended up getting like 40 bucks but if i had sold it to a different place i could’ve gotten at least 100 or so). 

so when i walked in the beauty salon today and basically asked “chop it all off” she probably thought i’d sell it again?? i don’t think i will, it’s too short to get any real money out of and it’s not worth the hassle

it’s a little unsettling handling something that used to be attached to my head but it’s mostly amusing
